Miss Single and Progressive Pageant - Barbados
Miss Single and Progressive highlights women from 18-50 who are studying
to become better educated. It allows females to come forward and let
other females realize that an unstable condition is not right and you
can be a worthwhile person in this world. The Miss. Single and Progressive Meets the Perfect Gentleman show will be hosted on the 10th of June 2012 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford
Centre. The pageant is now being held for the fourth year and showcases males and females who are not married, and are progressing in the world of work, are self-employed, single parents, as well as those who are studying to pursue a career. The show also gives men and women who have overcome abusive situations, the opportunity to share their inspirational stories of resilience with others and encourage them to speak out and seek help.
Contestants are not judged on beauty but on participation in workshops and activities and improvements made throughout preparation period before the day of the pageant as well as their performance on the day of the pageant.
Other programs and sessions include nursery and preschool attachments, public speaking, HIV/AIDS education, dance classes, confidence and goal-setting among others and volunteer work.
One of the greatest achievements of Miss. Single and Progressive has been representing Barbados in 2008 on the island of Carriacou, winning best gown, best talent, best question and answer and the title of Miss. Aquaval Queen.

Miss Urban Teenz International Pageant - St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands
Open to all states. Miss Urban Teenz International was established in
2007 to promote and encourage success by helping to enrich and build
scholastic achievement, creative expression, healthy living and community-based
involvement of our youth. MUTI has implemented programs geared
at helping young people develop strong leadership skills, social activism, self
worth and confidence in their potential. The organization host
a local U.S. Virgin Islands competition and also the International
Scholarship Competition which is open to candidates from all walks
of the world that are interested in competing. Among it's
initiatives, the Miss Urban Teenz International Organization created
the ultimate crossover competitions that has a distinctive style which is
easily recognized and respected by thousands of spectators each year.

Miss British Virgin Islands Pageant - Road Town, Tortola
Since 1954 the Festival and Fairs Committee of the British Virgin Islands has
hosted the Festival Queen Pageant which became the Miss British Virgin Islands
Pageant in 1975. The Pageant is the longest running, uninterrupted pageant in
the Virgin Islands. The country's delegate to the Miss Universe Pageant is
