Pageant Questions: Pornography

• Do you believe pornography, which is currently protected as "free speech" by Supreme Court rulings, is actually “free speech”?


• With all of the digital technology out there with tiny cameras that can film people without their being aware, what should be done to people who film another person - let's say you - in a state of  undress, without their permission, and post the images online for the world to see?


• Recently "sexting" - where underage girls film themselves or take photos of themselves in full or partial undress and send it to others - has become a controversial issue. When an underage girl sends a nude photo of herself to a classmate, and the classmate forwards it to others and it goes viral, do you believe that the boy who forwards it should be charged with a crime?


• Why do you think so many young girls are involving themselves in sexting? What does it say about this generation? And how do you protect underage girls from sending out nude or semi-nude images of themselves that will be permanently out there on the Internet?


• The Child Pornography Prevention Act prohibits images of minors engaging in "sexually explicit conduct" or the explicit images that convey the impression that a minor is engaging in such conduct. Critics sued, saying that the act violates freedom of speech. What is your opinion?
